Children’s Residential Program
The Children’s Residential Program provides specialized residential supports to children and youth who are unable to remain in their natural family or foster homes due to the behaviours, medical requirements, mental health concerns and/or sensory issues inherent in their disability.
This program, operated under the Child and Family Services Act, was designed to respect the support requirements and rights of each child in the program while ensuring the best care, welfare, safety and security of all.
The children and youth that receive support from this program are provided with full residential supports, recreational activities, community outings and in some cases, support in their school program from the professional support staff.
