Day Services:
We are committed to enhancing the lives of those we support. Day Services works to develop life, social, communication, and job skills, while offering functional and recreational activities for interested individuals.
Community Day Services offers a range of personal mastery programming designed to assist and improve the day-to-day life of participants. Functional activities include a continuum of programs to meet the needs of all people served from assembly/packaging contract work, to individualized special support in community activities.
Community Skills provides supports to individuals with a variety of needs. The program is primarily recreationally based, with programs such as swimming, computers, music, and other community activities.
Community Employment & Vocational Services provides supports to individuals in a more structured environment. This program is based out of the Donald L. Reilly Centre, and works throughout the agency helping considerably with tasks such as janitorial duties, painting in the residences, and planting and maintaining the gardens at agency facilities. Participants in this program are also an integral part of the light automotive assembly and greenhouse programs based out of NTEC.
The future of the program will be to focus added attention towards supporting volunteer work experience in the community.
